Pricing
The final cost for our whole, half and quarter animals is determined by the final hanging weight. Our whole and half animals are $5.75 per pound, and quarter animals are $6.25 per pound, based on the final hanging weight. All processing, cut and wrap fees are included in this cost.
A non-refundable deposit of approximately 50% is required for all orders. Deposits are currently:
Payment Terms
- Deposits are required for all orders, and are non-refundable.
- You can pay your deposit on our website via credit card or PayPal. For other payment options, please contact us directly by calling Paul: (707) 738-3079.
- When we receive notification that you’ve made your deposit, we will send you an order confirmation email.
Processing
- After we’ve confirmed your order, we’ll contact you personally to go over your order and answer any questions. (Please note: Quarter beef orders can not choose their cuts. You will receive a standardized selection with this option.)
- With all our beef orders, they are processed at Buds Custom Meats in Penngrove, CA.
- When your steer is delivered to the butcher shop, Stewart Ranch will be notified of the hanging weight. (All butcher shop scales are certified and monitored by state inspectors.) We will then bill you for the total cost of your meat, minus your pre-paid deposit. Remember: our total pricing is determined by the final hanging weight, not the final packaged weight.
Final Payment and Pickup
- You have 10 days to pay the balance due on your beef. If you do not pay within 10 days of receiving our final bill, your order will be canceled and your deposit surrendered. Please don’t let that happen.
- Once your order is fully paid up, your order will be available for pickup from the butcher shop (either Napa or Santa Rosa).
- Orders must be picked up within 7 days to ensure optimal quality.
